Teams and visibility

Open Game menu → Teams to create or edit teams. Give each team a unique ID, an optional description, and a color. Use the team’s membership controls to join or leave it.

A team can represent one player with a private hand, a group of cooperating players, or any other shared view of the table.

Open a cell’s context menu and choose Teams. Select the teams that should have access to its contents. A cell with no teams selected is public. A claimed cell is not publicly visible; members of a team that claims it can see its contents.

For a private card hand, create a team for its player, join that team, and assign the hand’s cell to it. Use separate teams and cells for the other players.

Toggle hide on a cell or object switches between a figure’s face and back. Team claims control who can see private content; hiding a card changes how it is presented. Use both when a game calls for private hands and face-down piles.

The host processes visibility and sends filtered world updates to other clients. The host or dedicated server remains authoritative and has access to game state.

Teams organize play and visibility. Server roles control permissions such as editing the world, kicking players, or managing other users. Some game modes also keep their own game roles. See multiplayer and server permissions for those controls.
